About The Safekeepers Hub

About SafeKeepers Hub

Companionship with dignity, warmth and quiet structure

SafeKeepers Hub was created for women in two of life’s quieter chapters: later life, and the early months after a new baby, and for the families who love them.

Not every quiet chapter needs care, treatment or formal intervention. Sometimes what helps most is someone steady: someone who can spend time, listen, encourage, notice gently, and help a person feel less alone.

SafeKeepers sits in the space between “I’m fine” and “I need more formal support.”

Our Team

THE FOUNDERS

Bintu Mansaray — Co-Founder

PhD Social Policy & Law · NHS Medical Doctor (10+ years) · Public Health Specialist · Health Economics · Maternal Health & Safeguarding Policy

Bintu has spent over a decade in healthcare, public health and safeguarding-related work, seeing how often women in later life and women after birth manage quietly, without the right kind of support around them.

SafeKeepers is her response to that gap. It brings together her clinical experience, academic expertise in social policy and law, and her belief that thoughtful companionship, delivered by the right people, can help families act earlier: before concerns become harder to manage.

Salai Conteh — Co-Founder

Paediatric Nurse (10+ years) · Diabetes Specialist Nurse · APM PMQ Project Manager

Salai brings a decade of specialist nursing practice, a trained eye for what people need day to day when life feels more difficult, lonely or uncertain, and the operational rigour to build something that works in practice, not just on paper. She leads the companion matching process and conducts every introductory call, because she believes the relationship between a companion and the person they visit begins before the first visit, with the care taken to get it right.

OUR PROMISE

  • We will always be honest about what SafeKeepers is and what it is not.

  • We will never make a person feel managed, watched or talked over.

  • We will not share information with family members without agreement, except where there is a concern about safety or harm.

  • We will match carefully rather than quickly.

  • We will protect dignity, consent, privacy and independence at every stage.

Our Values

Built on S.A.F.E.

  • Safety

Safeguarding underpins every visit, every record, and every relationship.

  • Accountability

Clear structures ensure consistent, transparent and defensible practice.

  • Fairness

Every client treated with dignity, respect, and equality.

  • Empowerment

We support independence — we never replace it.
