Gentle Awareness. Clear Boundaries.

Our companions are trained to notice when something may not feel quite right, and to respond responsibly without overstepping. This might include noticing changes in mood, confidence, routine, environment or emotional wellbeing.

It does not mean we investigate, diagnose, assess or take control. It means we pay attention, record concerns appropriately, and follow clear procedures if something needs to be raised.

The visit still feels warm, relaxed and ordinary. The structure sits behind the service, not in front of it.

Where there is a serious concern about harm or immediate safety, we follow our written safeguarding and escalation procedures.
